October Activities for All Ages
October is a busy month at the library! We welcome the cooler weather and Halloween season with an abundance of events and activities for children, teens, and adults. Some events require registration in advance.
Fall Leaves Luminary - We will be upcycling jars into beautiful fall luminaries using decoupage.
East Regional ▪ Monday, October 29 ▪ 6pm
Into the Depths of Horror - Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's "Dagon," an island has risen from the depths of the ocean with a terrifying secret. Can you find your way out and escape with your sanity? Are you brave enough to find what should never be found?
West Regional ▪ Saturday, October 20 ▪ 7 pm ▪ Registration Required
Monday Night at the Movies: Transylvania 2 - Dracula and his friends try to bring out the monster in his half human, half vampire grandson in order to keep Mavis from leaving the hotel. Popcorn and punch will be served. Rated PG. For all ages.

Creepy Crafts - Halloween is almost here! Come join us at this family-friendly event to create some creepy crafts to get into the spirit. For all ages.
West Regional ▪ Saturday, October 20 ▪ 11am
Kid Connection: Glowstick Broomstick - Create a "witch's broomstick" with glow sticks and paper. For ages 5-11.
St. Rose Branch ▪ Thursday, October 25 ▪ 4:30pm
4th Annual Halloween Extravaganza - Join us for our family-friendly Halloween Extravaganza. Join representatives from local businesses and organizations as you and your family trick-or-treat around the library while enjoying crafts, games, and refreshments. For all ages.
East Regional ▪ Saturday, October 27 ▪ 10am to Noon
Halloween Escape Room - Once upon a time, there was a little old lady who was not afraid of anything! But one autumn night, the little old lady who was not afraid of anything had the scare of her life! Join us as we solve puzzles and break codes to help the little old lady get home safely. For children and tweens.
