Event Details

The Louisiana/Mississippi Blinded Veterans Association Regional Group, Inc. will present a Tactile Braille American Flag and accompanying plaque to the St. Charles Parish Library for public display. 

The display features the American flag rendered in raised braille dots, allowing visually impaired visitors to experience the flag through touch, as well as a braille version of the Pledge of Allegiance. 

Representatives from the Blinded Veterans Association will discuss the significance of the braille American flag as well as the history of the BVA.

The donation represents the BVA's ongoing commitment to supporting accessibility initiatives in communities across the nation.
