Children's programming position offers are contingent upon the selected candidate obtaining the required Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) Eligibility for Child Care Purposes background check with fingerprints. The LDOE clearance is renewed every 5 years.
Full-Time positions are eligible for and/or may elect to participate in the following benefits:
- Pro-rated vacation & sick pay leave are based on employees hire date. Leave is then accrued quarterly based on years of service.

Part-Time Circulation Assistant (Floater) - West Regional Branch
This position will work at any of the six library branches (West Regional (Luling), East Regional (Destrehan), St. Rose, Norco, Hahnville, or Paradis.
The work schedule and hours for the Floater position will vary depending on the needs of the six branches and the Bookmobile. The schedule of hours to work can be anytime between 8:30 AM to 8:00 PM Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Friday or 8:45 to 5:00 PM on Saturdays.
