Lawyers in Libraries Week

We are participating in the 10th annual Lawyers in Libraries Week October 23 - 28. This is a statewide program in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association, the State Library of Louisiana, and the Louisiana Library Association.

You can get answers to your civil legal questions during a free 20-minute “Ask-a-Lawyer” consultation with a local attorney during one of the following events. No registration is required.

During Lawyers in Libraries Week, the Louisiana State Bar Association will also host virtual webinars on their Facebook page on timely legal issues.


“Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” Storytime

Attorney Loyd Bourgeois will also be a special guest at the West Regional Library’s storytime on Wednesday, October 25 at 10:30am as part of Lawyers in Libraries Week. This is a continuation of our special summer “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” storytimes that featured the diverse workers and volunteers of St. Charles Parish.
