Tap into your creative side during National Craft Month—and every month—at the St. Charles Parish Library Makerspace!
The makerspace has a variety of tools and equipment to help you with both creative and practical projects. Connect and create by learning a new skill, making special crafts, or just enjoying a hobby away from home.
From sewing and other traditional crafts to 3D printing, the St. Charles Parish Library Makerspace offers something for both experienced and aspiring crafters!
- Multicolor 3D Printer - The Bambu Lab X1C 3D printer builds solid objects by layering melted plastic in up to four colors, allowing you to create custom shapes like tools, models, or parts.
- Mug Heat Press - The Gigu Tumbler Heat Press transfers designs onto tumblers and bottles.
- Laser Cutter/Engraver - The Epilog Fusion Edge 36 uses a high-power laser to cut out shapes, or to burn, etch, or engrave on many types of materials.
- Serger - The Brother 1034D Serger trims, sews, and overcasts fabric edges for professional-looking seams and finishes.
- Sublimation Printer - The Sawgrass UHD Virtuoso SG1000 prints designs that can be transfered to a t-shirt, mug, hat, or other specially-prepared object.
