The Epilog Fusion Edge 36 features up to 120 IPS (3.05 m/s) engraving speeds, 5g acceleration, and a variety of wattage configurations.
It features Epilog’s revolutionary IRIS™ Camera System that gives laser operators a real-time image of the engraving table so they can quickly and accurately position their artwork on even the most uniquely shaped items. There is a 7-inch LED-lit touch display, and trace capabilities at the laser.

Project specifications:
Many materials can be used in the laser, including wood, acrylic, glass, anodized aluminum, fabric, stone, leather, rubber, and paper. However, materials containing PVC or vinyl are strictly prohibited.

Accepted file types: raster image files (.JPG, .PNG) or vector graphics (.EPS, .CDR, .AI, or .SVG.)

Supplies needed:
You can bring your own items for etching or cutting, but makerspace staff will ensure they are safe to use with the laser. If there are any safety concerns, the item will not be permitted.
Wooden coasters and craft boards are available for purchase in the makerspace.
